We are a non profit making charitable business, set up in 2004 to address the lack of childcare in our community. At the Den, we have a team of professionals dedicated to early years, working with small groups in a purpose-built setting with easy access to the great outdoors and our unique sand play area.

Our locally based staff have many years of experience between them and reports from the care inspectorate and council have praised their caring and nurturing skills as well as their ability to create a homely, safe, and creative environment for their children in their care.

We want to be a positive example of what quality care and learning for children & practitioners can be in a sustainable and community-based setting. Our mission is to be a happy, caring, fun and visionary hub for families, staff, customers & children to come and enjoy. We want to help our next generation develop, grow, and discover in the most innovative, inspiring environment possible.
